It is Friday meaning the day after weigh-in. I had another weight loss this week. Lost a little over a half a pound, making my total weight loss of 30.8. I have lost 3 weeks in a row which may be a record.
What did I do differently this week?
First off, I have been continuing to track every one of the B.L.T.S. You may ask what is a BLTS? Well, in Weight Watchers (WW):
B=Bites; L=Licks; T=Tastes; S=Sips
I not only track these but I track everything from my activity points to every thing that touches my lips even gum or a glass of water. I have come to the conclusion, that tracking is the key to any weight loss program. That plus adding exercise and eating smaller portions of you food.
This week meeting was all about the power of positive thinking. When the meeting finished and I walked to my car, I realized I took a lot from the meeting. I realize I need to learn how to take a compliment. When someone notices my weight loss, I need to just say Thank-You, instead of what I normally do.
"Thanks, but I still have a lot to go." Then I turn beat red and get embarrassed. The thing is, I HATE being the center of attention, and I realize as the weight comes off, I will get more and more of it, which is something I just have to accept and move on with it.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Cindy gave us some homework. Each day this week, we have to write something positive about ourselves every day.
