#217 Tracking

Hello all,

I am going to keep this one short and sweet tonight.

Today was the first day in while that I actually everything I ate today. When I say everything, I mean everything. I had to use the 4 points I earned plus a bunch of my weekly allowance, but hey well all have days like this. I have to realize that it is okay to eat badly one day, but now I have go to stop because guess who is weighing in on Tuesday instead of Thursday? This girl, that's who. I don't know if that is the biggest mistake or something good. We will see. I know I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The following are the questions I will ask myself each day. This is part of my challenge to myself.

Did I honestly track today?
Yes I did. I tracked everything that went into my mouth.
I tracked every bite, lick, taste, or sip. This is a huge deal for me.

Did I earn activity?
Yes, I earned 4 points, but that was just what I did at work. I can do better.
I could have gone to the gym.

Did I follow the Good Health Guidelines provided to me by Weight Watchers?
Mostly...I drank all my liquids and milks.
I ate lots of veggies. (Dinner was a salad and I had 2 plates full.)
I ate a turkey sandwich for lunch.
I need to work on eating fruit, healthy proteins, healthy oils, and vitamins.

What will I work on tomorrow?
I will eat more fruits and veggies.
I will try not to eat fast food and soda.
I will be more active.

If anyone can think of anything else, please advise this girl.

#216 Weekly Weigh-IN

WOW!!!! It has surely been a while since I wrote a weekly weigh in blog post. Hopefully, it will continue.

I have some semi good news to tell you. I actually lost weight this week. It was much .6 (point 6) to be exact. That means I am back over the 30 pound mark.

Now it is time to get my own personal challenge of losing some weight before I turn 30. I would like loose at least 20 pounds before Christmas. Lets just hope that I can stay on plan.

New weeks meeting is closed due to the upcoming Independence day holiday. My leader said that I could possibly weigh in on Tuesday. I don't know if I will be ready to do that. I guess. for the next 4/5 days...I will just have to be really good. lol
Now it is time that I follow plan for the next 6 weeks. I have proof that the plan really works.

Track-earn activity-follow the guidelines

Paleo/Clean Eating
Lately I have been hearing a lot of people (media & people I know) talking about both of these different "diets." Granted I know they should be called lifestyle changes but to keep thing short lets just say diet. I am trying to decide seriously if I want to try either one of these. I guess I need to do research. Will let you know.

Happy Tracking everyone.

#215 I'm Back

I know I know....its been like since January since I posted something.

Well a lot of things have happened since I last wrote something.

1. My sister graduated from medical school & she       and her hubby are moving to NOLA.
2. I turned 29. (Yikes)

That second thing is the thing that has really gotten to me. I am in my last year of my twenties. I really don't know what I think about this. While I mull that over for awhile, I have decided that to set a goal for the next of my life.

What do I want to accomplish before I hit the BIG 3-0?

Weight Loss
Tomorrow is weight in. I can't tell you if I am going to lose, gain, or maintain. I can tell you I have tracked more and did more activity. We will see tomorrow. I will post the results. I want to get this weigh loss journey back in gear. I have decided that I want to loose at least 20 pounds before Christmas. We will set another goal once I hit the 20. I really need to get back on plan and really follow it. I know it works cause that's I how lost the first 30 pounds. Now I just nee to get "back in the habit" of things. That means I need to track, track, and track while also continuing with my exercise.

The Blog
I vow at least over the next year to write more on this blog thing. I use to write everyday. Now I want to commit to at least 3 times a week. I think I can do that.

What else?
I want to save money and bulk up my bank account. I now have more bills (I got a car....finally) but I think if I stop spending money on things I really don't need (clothes, shoes, etc.), I can do this so that I can start saving again.

Well until next time....
