#220 Good-bye 20s

As I am sitting here writing, I am thinking that I have about 1 hour left of my 20s. I think about all that I have accomplished in my first 30 years. Not going to lie...I am so overwhelmed a bit about what's going to happen in about hour.  It is just this weird feeling I have right now. I guess it is because I am headed into a new chapter in my life.

So hear it goes: (This is in no specific order.)

1. I have lived in Orlando, Florida; Oxford, Mississippi; & Louisiana.
2. I travel around the world to: Puerto Rico, Brazil, South Africa, Mauritius, India, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, & Japan. 
3. I did the above travel pretty much by myself.
4. I attend college away by myself. 
5. I am sure I have done more stuff in my 30 years but I can't think right now. 

So whats next? There are so many jumble questions in my head.

1. Will I meet Mr. Right? What will he look like? Have I known him my entire life or have I not met him yet?
2. Will I have children?
3. What's in store for me career wise?
4. Will I ever get to my weight loss goal?

Well, here's to the future.

#219 Hi

Hi all...
I know I am a couple days late but hey...."better late than never, right?"

First off, I am finding it harder to continue to write but I am determined to continue this blog because if me sharing my weight loss journey helps just one person than I have done my job. I have helped someone else.

I am living proof that loosing weight isn't easy. When people, my Weight Watcher's leader included say "maintaining is harder." Ok...so that doesn't seem hard at all...lol

At this week's weigh in I gained point 6 which isn't bad considering on Tuesday I was surprised with boiled crawfish (Yummy).

#218 I'm Back.....

After a long hiatus....I believe I am back for good or at least I hope. Things have been crazy for me. After a long day of work and then the gym, one does not want to write a blog.

Yes, that's right, I am regularly going to the gym. If you would have asked me if I would every say, "I regularly go to the gym," I would have looked at you like you were crazy and but how have times changed.

My New Year's Resolution was to try to do as many 5K's as I could. I didn't start till February.

1. February-Acadian Elementary
2. March-Oak Alley-Reveille at Oak Alley
3. April- A Walk to History..Cemetery Run
4. More to come...

I guess all in all life is good. I am still stuck between 30 and 40 pounds lost. I know what's my problem. I just need to get serious and follow plan. (TRACK, TRACK, TRACK)

With all the workouts, I am noticing a change in my shape, finally. LOL The only thing that could be better if it that lousy number on the scale would go down.

I have been reading a lot and moving back into the parents house in small studio called "the Condo."
Recently I have been making in my own....Promise...photos soon.
