It is that time in the week where I share how much I have lost or gained. This week I couldn't be more excited to share what is my outcome of the past week.
I lost 1.8 pounds this week. I couldn't be more excited. That means I am back to a total of 30. 2 pound lost. Lets just hope I can keep it up. After each meeting and after I eat my "Thursday Meal," I sit and think about what I did or didn't do during the week. I look at what worked and what didn't.
What is a "Thursday Meal?" My "Thursday Meal" is simply the meal I eat after weighing in at the meetings. For me, honestly, it usually is a McDouble without mustard, small french fries, and a diet coke, but since it is lent and I gave up fast food, diet coke, and peanut butter, I obviously can't eat it. Lately, it has been Chinese Food or anything my mom cooks. (She is an amazing cook and everything is very tasty, but isn't healthy at all.)
Last night we celebrated my brother-in-laws birthday. He actual birthday isn't till Monday, but his lovely wife, my sister, had a surprise trip planned to Miami and Key West. (They left this morning.) I can't wait to hear what his reaction was. The meal wasn't all together "bad." We ate grilled pork chops and steak, mac-n-cheese, sweet potatos, and asparagus; desert was carrot cake. All fantastic.
Last night's meeting was about portion control, but during last night's meal I had no portion control.
So, I ask myself. What did I do different this week? I tracked every day and did a little more exercise. Drank all my water and didn't drink my diet coke or eat fast food. I know what I need to do to accomplish loosing weight.
