#135 Saturday

As I sit in front of the television, watching a little bit of eye candy as they compete during the final day of diving and the Olympics. I am am trying to cool off form my Walk/Run on the treadmill. I did a total of a little over a mile and a half in a matter of 30 minutes. That is my personal best, so I am proud of myself.

I guess I needed that swift kick in the butt to get back to exercise. After weigh in in which I was told that I gained 2.4 pounds, I couldn't help but want to get up and do something. It was the motivation I needed. Thank You Jesus.

I have also been tracking my food and eating less junk food. Also, today was pretty jam packed and I accomplished a lot even though I woke up at noon (Gotta love Saturdays).

  • As most of you may not know, I haven't really been in my house since my bee episode. So in an effort to slowly make my way back in the Aframe, I cleaned some of it. I spent about 3-4 hours at my house. I cleaned out the refrigerator. Scrubbed the sink, counter tops, floors, and did 2 loads in the dishwasher. Then moved to cleaning the downstairs bathroom; I cleaned the toilet, sink, and countertops. 
  • Upon return from my house, I bathed all 3 dogs. They did amazing even Callie, who hates baths.  It surely is a task to do this, but they are now clean and exhausted after their baths. Also, when Callie finishes her bath, she runs around like a crazy four legged animal. 
  • Then I did a workout on the treadmill. I walked/ran for 30 minutes and did 1.5 miles.
Now it is time to rest for a bit before I go take my bath. Then I hope to make some progress on the book I am reading now, The Kite Runner.
