#134 Weekly Weigh In

Yesterday I faced the scale; my prediction was true. I had a gain. In all actuality I did better than I thought. I gained 2.4 pounds this week making my total weight loss 35.6. Luckily, I am still at the 35 pound mark. Now it is time to go in offensive.

Goal of the Week: Lose at least one pound.

To accomplish the above goal, I asked myself, "what do I need to do to accomplish this goal?" What are the steps I need to take for myself to accomplish the goal of losing the weight I gained this week?
(1) Track everything; (2) Stop eating so much fast food; (3) Earn activity points; (4) Drink more water and less DC (diet coke); and (5) follow the Good Health Guidelines given to me by WW.

I know what I need to do and now I just need to do it.

You are probably asking what happened? I went on a tiny vacation to visit my sister and some family members, and I know that is not the problem.

The Problem: I went on a "diet vaca" as well. I need to start realizing that I don't need to stop eating healthy when I am on a vacation. It is okay to have a little something extra here and there, but not all the time. Granted I didn't eat nearly as much as I would have if hadn't been on the WW program for so long.

Now it is time to get back to my routine. I have already put things in place so that I can accomplish what I want to do. I paid my month for Zumba, which will make me go so that I don't waste my money. I will consciously be aware of what I am putting in my mouth whether it is a piece of gum or a piece of cake. It is the beginning of a new week and I need to move on from this hump.

I finished yet another book, Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. It was a real quick read, for me. Below is my review from Goodreads:
WOW.... Lately it seems every book I pick up to read, I fly through them. This one was no exception. I really can't wait to read the next books in the series. This book blurred the line between good and evil making it hard to judge the "book by its cover," so to speak. From the introduction of his character, I was drawn to Patch. Of course, every girl wants or thinks they want the bad boy, but that really isn't what drew me in. I felt that there was more to him than meets the eye. Although he was intense in every aspect of the word, there was something more. I can't wait to read more about Patch and Nora's relationship and about the world of fallen angels and Nephila (probably not spelled right).

I hope everyone has a great weekend.
