If you are a avid reader, then you know that I have been playing with the same 4 pounds since October 2011. Before my cousin's wedding, I reached the 30 pound mark. Now to be honest, right after the wedding, I kind of was off plan. Well if I am really honest, I through the book out of the window. I wasn't tracking and eating what I wanted. Meaning, if I wanted a cheeseburger from McDonalds, I ate it . Sometimes it was a few days in a row. Needless to say the scale showed it. Also, I felt it with my body. For me, I was eating small healthy meals for about one year, so it was sort of a shock to my body to get so much grease and so much food at one time. I was feeling awful.
Finally moving past the 35 pound mark is such a huge thing for me, words can't explain how utterly excited and proud of myself I am. I am going to list a few statistics below:
- I have dropped 37 pounds since my start of WW in April 2010.
- In 3 pounds, I will be able to take another progression photo.
- I am in a new decade, my number on the scale moved. The second number in my weight has gone down. (I hope that explains it.)
- I am down 2 pant sizes and 3 in one pair of pants.
- I really need to do measurements to figure out how many inches I lost.
- I can now buy shoes in the children's department. (I had no clue you lost weight in your feet.)
- I went down in bra size. I don't mean cup size; I mean I lost weight around my bust.
- My mom, this morning, told me that I lost my double chin.
- For the first time, I actually can see my weight loss looking in the mirror. I know it may be hard to believe, but I have never been able to see my weight loss, now I am starting to see it.
- I am finally showing my weight in my belly, which has been the hardest place to loose weight.
I have been really looking into that question, "What changed? What have I done differently? My answers to those questions are that I am really doing the WW plan. I am tracking and paying closer attention to what I am putting my mouth. Although I haven't really exercised since Disney, I want to exercise rather than sitting on the couch watching a tv show.
In closing, tonight marks the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. I am excited about pulling for the USA olympians. I have had a great week, lets just hope I can keep this momentum going. Have a great weekend everyone.
