#128 Go Team USA!!!!!!

I usually don't post things on Saturday or on weekends, but what the hell.

The Summer Olympics (I am not sure I should capitalize this) is the thing I look forward to every 4 years. I guess as I child I dreamed about one day going to the Olympics at some point in my life, but I soon realized as I got older that I wasn't good at sports or one of those people who thrive on winning, but I can pull for them right?

First off, I have to remember to not keep checking on the Internet because new media outlets are spoiling the results for me. They are doing their jobs by reporting cause by the time we Americans get to watch it on TV, it has happened a few hours earlier. I just wish the would hold their reports till those of us state side can see the results when we watch it.

Opening Ceremonies

Watching Facebook posts last night as the Opening Ceremonies were happen, I couldn't help but laugh.  Some posts people were saying that they "didn't understand what was happening." I thought it was fantastic and at times sometimes creepy. There were a few things that I love:

• The Queen's entrance with 007. That was awesome is all I got to say.
• Mr. Bean with the London Orchestra.
• The Industrial Age part, especially when they were forming the rings.
• But I think the most moving part is when instead of using past famous athletes, they let young and possibly future olympiads light the Olympic Torch, which was beautiful but the way. 

In closing, I wish all of Team USA the best of luck. I also hope that Michael Pheleps gets his 3 gold medals to make history. Go TEAM USA!!!!
