#66 Hump Day

It is that day in the week where we are half way between Monday and Friday. It is hump day; the middle of the week. Today is a special hump day. It is also Leap Day; that thing that happens every four years where the world gets an extra day. Instead of the usual 365 days, we get 366.

I have decided to take a cue from Moments with the Mays and her weekly So What Wednesdays. I am going to try and remember to change the format and use bullet points but I holding no promises.

I know it is a bit late to do my Mini Goals (I normally do that on Mondays), but it has been a pretty busy week for my freelance business, which I couldn't be more excited about.

Mini Goals

  • Track Everyday
  • Eat more veggies and fruits.
  • Get organized in personal life (get my house organized.)
  • Exercise more.
  • Finish A Million Suns by Beth Revis (the second book to Across the Universe)
  • Cook more.
Hopefully, I will try to progress reports on my weight loss as time goes. As most of my readers know, I am very proud of what I have accomplished in my weight loss journey. I lose weight very slowly; my metabolism is very slow as well, so it takes a lot for me to loose the weight.

Progress Report

  • As of today, with the gain of last week, I have lost roughly about 27 pounds. I am determined to get back to where I was at and to loose more during Lent.
  • My goals of the upcoming few weeks is to get pass the 35 pound mark. Every 5 pounds I reward myself with a special meal. My 35 pound mark meal is a meal from my brother-in-law. His meal has been pushed back so many times. Hopefully this week, I will have shed some of that gained weight.
35 Pound Meal

Pepper jack stuffed duck breast wrapped in bacon.
Cheesy potatoes.
Asparagus
Hot Fudge Sundae (no cherries or whippcream)

  • I am down 2 pant sizes as well as 2 shirt sizes. In one pair of pants, I am 3 sizes down.
  • I need to measure myself again to see how many inches I have lost. When I do this, I will do another progress report.
