I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything, but with the Mardi Gras holiday it has been a little crazy. As you know, today is weigh-in, which means I get to see the damage I did over the holiday. I mean, I ate and I didn't track. This is a not so go combo.
We are now in Lent and I have given up soda and fast food! (this doesn't include Subway and Wendy's Chile. Also, doesn't include my morning McCafe from McDonalds or McDonalds Parfits and ice cream) Everything else is a no no. So far, so good. It is the second day and I have yet to break. Lets just hope I can keep it up.
I tend to use Lent as a way to jump start my "lifestyle change." I know what I need to do to get back on track. {Start tracking, exercising, eat more veggies, drink more water.}
Food/Beverage Find
Everytime we as a family head to Lafayette to share our yearly Thanksgiving holiday with my mom's side of the family, my cousin always has this Pommagranted ice tea from Arizona Teas. It is green tea and also sugar free. Well this past week, I actually baught it. It is a great alternative to water. If you mix it with Crystal Light, it sure is tasty.
Well, I hope tonight goes ok.
