#61 Hump Day

It is already Wednesday; the middle of the week, aka Hump Day. We have reached the day were we can practically see the weekend just around the corner. What else is around corner is the release of Breaking Dawn: Part 1. I couldn't more excited about this. Who cares if this weekend is also the first weekend of Mardi Gras parades. I am more excited about the upcoming DVD release of the next of the Twilight Saga.

Have I accomplished any of my mini goals:


Mini Goals for the Week:

  • Only drink diet cokes on the weekends and Thursday Nights after Weigh In (I am doing good so far on my first day. I haven't had any.) It is already Wednesday and I have yet to have a single diet coke. I guess you can say I am addicted to diet coke. It has been really hard. I am a little bit tired without all that caffeine; I am also getting headaches as well. So far so good.
  • Track my food (I have been tracking all weekend)  So far so good. I have tracked my food intake every single day for every single piece of food and drink I have put into my mouth. This is a big deal for me because for a while I had stopped. Also, I have set an alarm after every meal that has reminded me to track. Without this I don't think I would be successful.
  • Eat More Veggies (My dinner Friday Night at Zea's consisted of the veggie platter. Lunch on Sat was a salad. Last (Sunday) night, we grilled hamburgers for the game and I cook veggies) So far so good. I have made a conscious effort to incorporate more veggies in my diet. So far, I have had some kind of veggie or salad with every meal. Whether I have tons on my Subway sandwich for lunch (my dad calls it a salandwich) or broccoli as a side at dinner. I tend to make sure it is at least a cup. 
  • Exercise More (Does walking around Walmart and Rouses looking for wheat hamburger buns)
  • Finish Jennifer Hudson's book (I have about 100 pages.)  I thought I had 100 pages. I really  had only 2 except for the recipes in the back. It was an great book. Look for my book review post later. 
The only thing I haven't accomplished on my list is the exercise. I know I need to do this, but all I seem to want to do when I get home is read a book or watch TV. I need to get better a wanting to exercise. I know if I moved more my weight loss would increase. All in all, I think today is going to be a good day. Happy Wednesday everyone!!!!
